Carolyn is a registered physiotherapist and a graduate of the Auckland School of Health Sciences, New Zealand, 1984. She went on to study Orthopedic Manual Therapy at a post-graduate level and continued to pursue postgraduate training in orthopedic medicine in England and Canada. She has been active in teaching other physiotherapists in the Canadian orthopedic system. In 2004 she gained her certification in Gunn Intramuscular Stimulation.
Carolyn has travelled widely with the Canadian Women’s soccer team (U20), the highlight being the Fifa U20 World Cup in Chile in 2008. Carolyn loves to treat athletes of all levels, helping them return to peak performance.
She is also currently involved in working with Dr. Jean Gillies, helping to rehabilitate patients with back injuries following prolotherapy injection into the lower back and sacroiliac ligaments. She has studied hip health and treatment of osteoarthritis and labral tears of the hip.
Outside of physiotherapy, Carolyn enjoys a busy life with her two children and family. She likes to trail-run and compete in a few races, and skis downhill and cross-country.
