Jessi graduated from the University of British Columbia with a Master of Physical Therapy after completing her B.Sc. in Biology, with a minor in Microbiology, from the University of Victoria. Growing up on the North Shore, Jessi has always believed in having a healthy and active lifestyle and looks forward to sharing this passion with her clients.
Jessi believes in a holistic approach to treatment enabling people to get back to the activities they enjoy by using a combination of manual techniques, acupuncture, Clinical Pilates, education and exercise. She has experience treating individuals from all backgrounds and activity levels including clients with orthopaedic and sports injuries, neurological conditions, and those ranging in age from pediatrics to geriatrics.
Jessi is committed to pursuing post-graduate education; she has completed her Certificate of Anatomical Acupuncture (CAFCI) and is trained in Clinical Pilates. She also recently took a Real Time Ultrasound (RTUS) course taught by Jackie Whittaker, and looks forward to using this tool with her clients.
In her free time, Jessi loves being outdoors enjoying the North Shore Mountains from hiking in the summer to snowshoeing and cross-country skiing in the winter. As well she is an avid road cyclist, and is passionate about practicing Iyengar Yoga and Pilates.
