Tara Crawford

Physiotherapist Assistant / Certified Pilates Instructor

Tara experienced Pilates for the first time while recovering from a repetitive strain injury while working at BC Children’s Hospital. Having been involved in gymnastics and figure skating as a child and later Afro Brazilian dance as an adult the combination of mindful and whole body exercise with movement was an instant connection for her.

Tara began practicing Pilates in 1999 and completed her 1000hr certification in 2001 with The Pilates Association of Canada with additional training in New Method Kineseology’s Hyperton-X Level I and II, Pre and Post Natal certification, and many workshops for injured populations.  Tara is dedicated to always learning more from workshops and clients themselves.

Tara’s approach to teaching is kind, caring and respectful with a focus on finding the joy in movement.  Working closely with clients to reach their fitness and/or rehab goals.  Tara is passionate about sharing her love of Pilates and meeting you at any age or stage of your movement experience.
